Taking Command of Your Wellness requires a holistic approach that goes beyond eating well and exercising. In this module we offer multiple modules to support you in being well – body, mind, heart, and spirit! It is our Mega Module!
Step 1 : Taking Command of Your Habits
Understanding habits, how they develop, and identifying your own habits will allow you to take command of your wellness. Habits, for the most part, are blindspots for us. By SEEing your Habits, you can then Create & Live the Alternatives! This module works for ANY habit you want to change – that is why we are start here!!!!
Step 2 : Taking Command of Your Stress
Managing stress is extremely important for wellness. When we are constantly stressed our bodies are not able to rebuild and repair, leading to illness and disease. This module explains what stress is and what YOU can do about it!!!
Step 3 : Taking Command of Your Time & Space
A module about Time & Space in a wellness program? YES! Being Busy and Cluttered contributes to stress, low energy, illness and disease. In this module, we support you in time management and organization skills, as well as looking at how you got to be so busy and cluttered.
Step 4 : Taking Command of Your Sleep
Multiple studies have shown that not getting adequate or restful sleep affects weight. Sleep is when we restore multiple bodily functions, including hormones, which affect our metabolism. Without adequate rest, you will gain weight.
Step 5 : SEE Your Inflammation
Inflammation makes us sick. This section will have you look for inflammation that may be contributing to illness and disease, and what to do about it.
Step 6 : Taking Command of Your Eating Pattern
Yes, we are going to work on what you eat and why! We will offer recommendations for what to remove, what to add, and what new habits will support you in creating SUSTAINABLE eating pattern modifications!
Step 7 : Taking Command of Your Movement
By now hopefully you feel better and feel like being more physically active! This module offers recommendations for moving your body, beyond the traditional perception of EXERCISE! We will also explore what gets in your way of being physically active!!!
